DOXA MUZIQ // BIO
C. Lenelle Smith (born February 20, 1988) is an American Urban songwriter and musician, who founded the multi-genre performance ensemble known as DOXA MUZIQ. The Jackson-based vocal ensemble is known for their exuberant brand of contemporary arrangements of uplighting Gospel, Soul, and Neo-Classical music.
Named after the Greek phrase for "the glory; to appear", DOXA features the talents of educators, worship leaders, entrepreneurs, and fellow independent artist. Smith's musical approach and delivery is heavily influenced by the vocal pedagogy of Donald Lawrence, the musical discipline of Richard Smallwood, and the artistic styling of Kirk Franklin.
DOXA can be found performing for concerts, youth events and conferences, weddings, local award shows, private parties, and provide background vocals for studio albums and theatre productions. In Fall 2022, DOXA will release their debut album "doxology: vol1" which will include their singles "Seen Him Work" and "Yahweh [Who You Are]"

"We are just a family-oriented group of talented individuals who are constantly LEARNING, GROWING, and DEVELOPING TOGETHER, while keeping our focus on God, as the core and foundation."
